Whole Foods Market’s first UK store is located in the iconic Barkers of Kensington building.
Throughout the store, lighting levels are low over walkways and ramped up over merchandise with accent lighting adding drama. Each of the three floors offers distinct products, and each has a tailored solution.
Background lighting in the ‘Market Hall’ (the lower level) provides a soft light, while track mounted spotlights highlight produce. Express shopping is central to the feel of the ground
floor ‘Provision Hall’, while ‘Upstairs at the Market’ lighting assists in creating an individual look for each of the many eateries.
