Selfridges Manchester, Spirit for Women

Spirit for Women is a playful space. A red resin floor and ‘Lego’ brick ceiling are accentuated by a dramatic, internally lit, fibreglass oval wall. This surrounds the central core and allows more intimate departments to be sited around the perimeter and accessed through points punctured in the wall.
Fixtures are highlighted by 70W CDM spotlights, suspended on track between the ‘Lego’ ceiling rafts. Black ceilings
feature black louvered luminaires that provide accent and feature lighting. The entrances to fitting rooms have a luxurious feel, with tungsten downlighters enhancing the texture of the velvet curved wall.
