Marks & Spencer’s first M&S Restaurant is a 130-cover offer in the Newcastle store that provides table service and classic dishes to order.
The lighting is designed to entice customers and encourage them to linger. The restaurant’s location next to the brightly lit sales floor meant a broad level of ambient lighting was necessary to prevent the space from looking gloomy by comparison. Accent lighting highlights the tables, while further interest is created by such features as the decorative

pendants above the tables, the dramatic black glass pendants located above the servery, and the backlit banquette seating that frames the back wall.
