Working directly for Kmart and engaged in a design team consisting of InspireRD and SapientNitro, LAPD helped create a new brand experience for Kmart as part of their "Expect Change" program.
Careful consideration to the light level, colour temperature and colour rendering within the lighting scheme enhanced the customer experience, whilst the energy consumed was reduced by 44.8% in store.
The lighting was provided by a new trunking system, iTrack,

manufactured by Fagerhult and Whitecroft Lighting. The system provided considerable flexibility in store to cope with seasonal changes in the merchandise layout.
