In response to a medical paper commissioned by NHS Estates documenting the effect of colour stimulation in assisting patient recovery, LAPD designed an LED system capable of colour change. This integrates into existing hospital bed-head systems.
DMX-linked LEDs are controlled by a handheld unit that allows patients to decide the colour within their environment.
When medical analysis is necessary the LED system can be overridden and the regulation T5 luminaire automatically activated.
