| Birmingham was the first of many locations chosen for the Hustler Hollywood UK retail experience. Hustler’s merchandise is showcased through distinct zonal spaces within the two floor store. Feature lighting throughout is LAPD designed – designs that formed the blueprint concept for all future Hustler stores. |
Sumptuous and fun architectural details frame graphic panels and allow the feature lighting to create the drama intended. Incredible interaction between this and dynamic bespoke lighting from the floating ceiling mirror, accentuates the ambience of the merchandise. | |

| The ceilings provided a challenge for the lighting
design. These incorporate suspended extend ceiling with a soft suspended
tile system. Bespoke ‘net lights’ - CDM-T gimbals - are
recessed within a circular plate designed for stitching into the
extend ceiling. |
The shape of a star is created using floating ‘Helicopter’ luminaries with 4 x 21w T5 lamps. The star mirrors the 1200x1200mm tile grid to provide the ambient lighting for the scheme. Rings made of white polycarbonate blade, within rings of cold cathode, ensure a different feel is given to each area and that many areas of interest and focus are created. |
