| This exhibition was devoted to the revolutionary approach to landscape painting introduced to Britain in the 1850s by a group of young artists. These artists were known as the Pre-Raphaelites. | It showed how the landscapes of John Everett Millais, William Holman Hunt, Ford Madox Brown and others were not only fired by a passion for the natural world, but also deeply rooted in the scientific and religious ideas of the day and the theories of John Ruskin. | |
| A unique blend of lighting and approach ensured this show would develop the artwork and enhance the public experience throughout the six spaces. | Commissioning, as with any work of this nature, was the turning point in this project. Works of differing medium sat close to one another to form the challenge that sets this project aside. | |
