Beetham Organization and an International Hotelier are planning a striking new £500m Landmark for London.

Project is due for completion in 2010

Working with Ian Simpson Architects, LAPD assisted in the submission of the planning application to Southwark Council for the 68 storey glass tower that will combine 310,000 sq ft (28,800 sq m) of residential space a 440,000 sq ft (40,892 sq m) hotel together with a public viewing gallery on top of the building.

The site on London’s South Riverbank at the junction of Blackfriars Bridge and Blackfriars Road has been ear-marked as an area that is considered suitable for tall buildings in both the London Plan and Southwark Councils emerging tall building strategy.   The lower half of the tower will house a 6 star 395-bed hotel and we are in talks with some of the world’s most prestigious hotel operators to manage this facility. The 220 spectacular apartments and penthouses are situated from floors 30 to 66 and will be the highest living space in the UK.
