LAPD’s 3D CAD system enabled the rapid visualisation of concepts for client approval and market appraisal. This allowed valuable information to be gleaned without incurring the expense of full prototyping.
The fitting has a 55W compact fluorescent lamp, mounted vertically, for general area lighting. Also located within the column are other services that rise from the floor void,
such as power and telecommunications points.
