Marking the sixtieth anniversary of the end of the Second World War, ‘The Children’s War’ is a major exhibition that looks at the conflict through the eyes of British children.
The exhibition incorporates hands-on activities, a walk-through 1940s house and a post-war prefab.
LAPD worked with the existing electrical services and used new and existing museum stock. The cost-effective solution achieved also provides flexibility through tracklighting and spotlighting. Honeycomb louvres allow spotlighting at low

angles to add drama. This creates long, dark shadows in the time zones where the mood captured is one of fear and anxiety.
