Lingerie Lighting

With architects Urban Salon, LAPD created a contemporary solution for the lingerie department.
Bespoke ‘pebble’ fittings made from polyester PETG are suspended above the merchandise. In the centre of each structure, four-way CDM gimbals scatter light. Also mounted within the pebble is a set of circular T5 fluorescents that make the pebbles glow.
The pebbles are more than 2m in length and are positioned so as to give the impression that each is slightly different. The resulting environment is both dramatic and relaxing as the floating pebbles allow the ambient light to be reduced.
