Working with Ian Simpson Architects, LAPD has assisted in preparing the planning application submission for this landmark glass-skin tower.
The 52-storey building will comprise a 261-bedroom hotel, 64 apartments, retail space, restaurants and bars, a health and fitness centre and a skydeck public observation platform.
The site is on the River Thames, at the junction of Blackfriars Bridge and Blackfriars Road. This has been earmarked as an area suitable for tall buildings in both
the London Plan and Southwark Council’s emerging tall building strategy.
